Pastor Ezra Mpyisi -
Foundation Founder
Pastor Ezra Mpyisi who passed on in January this year (2024) at the age of 102 in his home country of Rwanda, was a well-known Seventh Day Adventist pastor who touched thousands of lives in East and Central Africa through his ministry. Pastor Mpyisi’s Bible Ministry has its own YouTube channel called “Studying the Bible with Pastor Ezra Mpyisi.” In addition to his ministry, he was an Advisor to two Kings of Rwanda and played a key role in the return of the body of the last King of Rwanda from the United States where he had been exiled to rest in his own country.
There are thousands of Christians in Rwanda who hunger for the Word of God but cannot afford a Bible. For several years after returning to Rwanda, Pastor Mpyisi established several Bible study groups and a program to donate Bibles. At the time of his death, he had distributed over 2,000 Bibles.

Bible provision
Spread the message of hope and salvation by providing a Bible to every home and individual, regardless of their religious affiliation.
Bible school
Establish a Bible School Centre to deepen the understanding of the Word of God and train future leaders in ministry, ensuring the continuation of Pastor Mpyisi's legacy.
Education support
Provide financial support to children from impoverished families to attend Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) schools. By equipping these children with valuable skills, the foundation is helping them become self-reliant and contributing members of society.

This foundation honors the lifelong dedication of Pastor Ezra Mpyisi, a revered Rwandan pastor, by continuing his mission of spreading God’s word and equipping future generations. Through Bible distribution and scholarships for vocational training, the foundation strives to empower individuals and communities, ensuring Pastor Mpyisi’s legacy of hope and education continues to inspire and uplift.
Foundation Leadership
The Foundation is led by a team of dedicated and spiritually devoted individuals with the same ideals as the Founder – Pastor Ezra Mpyisi. They are individuals of impeccable character and outstanding contribution to society which ensures that the foundation operates with integrity, compassion, and effectiveness.
The Foundation Council, consisting of five members, along with the Foundation Guardian and Executive Secretary, play crucial roles in guiding the organization towards fulfilling its mission.

Our Journey So Far
Though newly established, the Pastor Ezra Mpyisi Bible and Education Foundation is already making strides towards its mission. We’ve distributed over 2,000 Bibles, bringing the message of hope and faith to communities in need. We’re actively building partnerships to expand our reach and empower even more individuals through Bible education and vocational training.
